Forensic Bridging: Transitioning Successfully to the Community

HALI forensic peers to facilitate groups within local jails and state prisons, sharing their own experiences “bridging” to the community post-release, and answering questions about what to expect. We pick people up when they are released and remain in contact for 1:1 support and in groups at our drop-in center.  This is a successful model that reduces recidivism and gives people the respect and opportunities they deserve.
