CORE: Community Oriented Recovery and Empowerment
CORE services provide extra supports for people to meet goals and make the most of resources in the community. HALI staff meets with participants in a location of their choosing, at home, a coffee shop, the library – whatever is most convenient. Participants build skills and self-efficacy to promote and facilitate community participation and independence.
HALI provides CORE Empowerment Services – Peer Support. Participants can get help from people who have been there, and learn from peers who understand what they are are going through.
CORE services are free. Adults 21 and over covered by Medicaid and enrolled in a Health and Recovery Plan (HARP), and some people enrolled in HIV-Special Needs Plans and Medicaid Advantage Plus Plans can be eligible for CORE.
