Victoria E. Serpa, Board Member
Victoria E. Serpa is a life long resident in the Town of Islip and currently resides in Brentwood. Victoria’s life and career has been developed around a variety of components, beginning with her parents, a former New York City Police Detective and a professional Health Care worker.
Victoria’s introduction to government began when she served as an aide to a newly elected NYS Assemblyman. She was later promoted to Deputy Chief of Staff as a result of her work ethic and commitment to the community.
Interested in obtaining corporate experience she joined Citibank as a Business Banking Officer where she brought financial advice and education to the growing businesses of her community. While at Citibank, Victoria served as a Director for the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce in an effort to enhance a synergy between Citibank and issues that small businesses in Brentwood were facing.
Wanting to return to the public sector, she became the Director of Community Relations with County Executive Steve Levy’s Administration. Victoria currently serves as a Governmental Analyst within Suffolk County Government.
Throughout her career, Victoria has exemplified independence and the ability to facilitate positive outcomes for community issues. While cultivating her career and raising her two children she has demonstrated a commitment to the advancement of the community that she lives, works and raises children in by; volunteering her time, energy and talent to numerous organizations, boards and raising money for local charities.
